Video Traffic

Are YOU getting left behind in the Web 2.0 Video Traffic Explosion ?

Web VideoVideo as a marketing tool is here to stay. Period.

Ignore the Video boom at your own peril and to other online marketers huge satisfaction.

The simple fact of the matter is that Video as an online marketing tool is taking the web by storm. The new Web 2.0 social aspect is dominated by video.

Creating and publishing a marketing video is a 3 step process as below. You can watch tutorial videos covering these 3 steps on this site.

If you're not using Product Marketing Videos to market your products or drive traffic to your website, you're missing out on the masses of free traffic video views generate and the backlinks these video sites can generate for your websites.

Web 2.0

It's a whole new kind of internet and it needs a whole new kind of marketing approach. Traditional traffic generating methods will still continue to work, but if you're like me, I'm not too keen on splurging my cash on ever more expensive PPC campaigns.

Video SitesAre you marketing online? Have a quick look at one of your competitor's sites and you'll probably find a video or two.

Producing a marketing video isn't really that difficult. Use the signup form on this page and get our weekly newsletter, with tons of tips and tricks that will help you on your way to producing better, more effective marketing videos, plus saving you money in the process.

Now you can just produce a video and upload it to one of the video sites like YouTube. All the sites give you an option of embedding the finished video in your own site, but there is a drawback to that. Embedding video from YouTube for example carries the site links across and also includes other videos from a playlist, so you could end up using an embedded video for your site marketing, only to find you're giving free webspace and advertising to one of your competitor's sites. Not the best thing to be doing.

We're not talking Cecil B. DeMille productions here. A marketing presentation needs to get a simple message across and it doesn't even need to be real video. It can just be a number of still images, joined together with basic transitions to make up something like the video below. This took about 20 minutes to create and convert to flash for inclusion in this site. The images were taken on a simple digital camera from my last golfing trip, so that explains the golf course images. I use Sony Vegas for all my video as it's probably the simplest to use and has the best price point.
