Now you've produced your marketing video, you need to add this
to your website.
To do this, you need to convert your video to Flash and add some
html code to your web page.
Watch the video below to see how to convert video to flash using
video conversion software.
To add a video to your website, you have to
create the video in flash format and include the necessary HTML
code into your web page. Not always an easy task, certainly not for
me, as I could best be described as an HTML illiterate. However,
that doesn't stop me having video on my website, so there must be a
simple way to do it.
The whole process is handled by Video Conversion
Software. These packages have become more and more popular now, as
people realise the power of video marketing and produce more and
more videos. Video marketing is huge and the amount of traffic
generated by the video sites is amazing. Getting just one video
seen and played on YouTube can earn you traffic, backlinks and
sales, so it's well worth getting into the video market.
From being the exception, video marketing has
now become the rule and more and more internet uses expect to see
video on the pages they visit, otherwise they vote with their mouse
and go somewhere else that does have video.
Converting can also be done via online services.
I prefer to keep as much control as possible over my projects, so
I've never used one of these services. They do exist, I've just
never used them.
Added to this is the volume of videos I produce
for my marketing. Usually about 3 news videos a week. Using a
per-per-use service would get too expensive, especially considering
that even the top rated software conversion package comes in at
under $100. And that's a one-off payment, no recurring costs, no
fees. For less then $100 I can convert as many videos as I want and
I don't have to worry about any possible mistakes I've made as I
can just redo and convert once more with no extra cost.
Here's a quick tip. It's not the big purchases
you make in your internet marketing career that bite into your
wallet. It's the little recurring billings which pile up so easily.
At one point I looked at my recurring billings and I was paying
over $1100 a month for services which I could have replaced
with one-off purchases - and I did. So wherever possible, buy a
good piece of software and avoid the monthly or per-use charges.
They soon add up.
Anyway, that's a personal thing, but I would
recommend one-off purchases wherever possible. One exception to
this is my monthly subscription to Unique Article Wizard, which
a) is only available as a monthly service,
b) is great value for money and
c) gets great results, so I don't mind paying it
one bit. You can read all about Unique Article Wizard on our
Article Marketing page and why
I don't mind the monthly fee on this one.
The conversion program I use is called
Easy Web Video and as you saw in the tutorial
video above, it's a piece of cake. Check the Video Conversion Software
page on this site for detailed information regarding the
package.
Hugely Important Point
When converting your videos to flash, make sure
you DON'T select the
option to have the video rewind to the start frame when it finishes
playing. Your end frame, with your "call to
action" should be in view when the video finishes, so make
sure NOT to
use any rewind options.
